Dialogue

Reflections of people talking in rippled pond

Dialogue is not just people talking. It’s a process in which something emerges between people who are talking.
What emerges can be new understandings, new meanings or perspective shifts.
We create safe spaces for people to have difficult conversations about issues that really matter, like identity, inclusion, faith, peace, equity, safety and access to resources.

The word dialogue has Greek roots. Dia (διά) means through, across, between, and logos (λόγος) is meaning, word, reason, understanding.
So dialogue literally means “meaning flowing through.”

Workplace Dialogue

We host dialogues to explore challenges such as discrimination and inequity at work and then support people to explore how change might happen in their workplace. Having a safe space to talk improves connection and trust between colleagues and contributes to employee wellbeing.

Community Dialogue

We host dialogue circles in all kinds of communities so people can talk about what peace, inclusion or safety looks like for them, and explore how they might create it together.

'In understanding, all walls shall fall down,' by Kahlil Gibran. Belfast peace walls.

Restorative Dialogue

When conflict has destroyed relationships, people need time and space to recover.

We host restorative dialogue sessions so that people can explore together what happened and understand the harm that has been caused. We help them to consider together how the harm could be repaired.
