ALEX MAVOLWANE WRIGHT

Facilitator, Systems Psychodynamics Specialist

Alex specialises in facilitating small groups and teams as well as individual leaders, supporting them to look at the dynamics which underlie work-based challenges and which can get in the way of effective working. As an independent consultant her clients include local authorities, charities and the education sector. Her approach is grounded in the Tavistock model of systems psychodynamics, integrating group process theory and open systems thinking. The methodology takes account of the many forces which influence work life at the level of the individual, group and organisation, helping to make sense of their effects and facilitating improvements in both intergroup and intragroup functioning. Alex holds an MA in Consulting and Leading in Organisations: Psychodynamic and Systemic Approaches from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust/University of East London and an MSc in Psychodynamics of Human Development from Birkbeck, University of London as well as a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from University of West London.

Stephen Hall

Mediator, Mentor, Facilitator and Strategist

Stephen has been shaped by working as a member of corporate executive leadership teams, being a charity trustee and consulting independently over recent years. He has a track record of business leadership across several disciplines including sales, strategy, marketing and communications. This enables him to translate complex business and financial issues into easy-to-understand language, and support parties in mediation to explore realistic solutions, as well as to support C-level executives to rebuild damaged relationships. Stephen has mediated in commercial and workplace disputes with settlement values up to €10,000,000 as well as mediating in ecumenical and community settings. Working in different global contexts for over 30 years has given Stephen a deep understanding of cross-cultural working which he brings to bear in mediation, including the application of Middle Eastern Sulha conflict resolution techniques. Stephen holds an MSc in Middle East in Global Politics: Islam, Conflict and Development from Birkbeck, University of London
