We have just marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, with lots of firsts; Theresa May in joint ceremonies with Mr Macron remembering the first soldiers to die, the Queen and the German President joining in prayers of remembrance for lost lives on both sides. </p> <p> I overheard a mother on the bus yesterday; 'Remember to be on your best behaviour at Nana's.' </p> <p> The call to remember assumes that we respond in some way.
